itinerary
Day 1: Moscow
- Welcome lunch in Moscow, where we will have the chance to meet the group and explore the Red Square. In the evening, we’ll board a sleeper train, embarking on our Trans-Siberian railway toward our first destination: Kazan.
- Overnight: Sleeper train
Day 2: Kazan
- We’ll arrive in Kazan early in the morning and head straight to the city’s highlight: the Kazan Kremlin, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After lunch, we’ll explore the vibrant city: Kul Sharif Mosque, Bauman Street and its rich blend of Tatar and Russian cultures. Then we will take our next train to Yekaterinburg.

Day 3: Ekaterinburg (Yekaterinburg)
- We’ll arrive in Ekaterinburg with time to explore this fascinating city situated at the Ural Mountains in the asian part of Russia. We’ll visit key landmarks, including the Church on the Blood, built on the site of the Romanovs’ execution and the Europe–Asia border monument.
- Overnight: Sleeper train
Day 4: Ekaterinburg – Novosibirsk
- We will spend the day crossing Russia by train up to Novosibirsk, we will pass through (by train) the regions of Tyumen Oblast and Omsk Oblast.
Day 5: Novosibirsk
- We will have the full day to explore Novosibirsk, the largest in Siberia. The main highlights of the city will include the stunning Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, Lenin Square, and the iconic Trans-Siberian monument. Then, We’ll board our next train for Irkutsk, starting one of the longest legs of our railway journey.
Day 6: Novosibirsk – Irkutsk
- Spend the day aboard the train, and do not miss the vast, mesmerizing landscapes of Siberia. Watch the scenery change as we cross dense forests, rolling hills, and quaint villages.
- Overnight: Sleeper train
Day 7: Irkutsk
- We’ll begin the day exploring Irkutsk, often referred to as the “Paris of Siberia” for its charming wooden architecture-
- Overnight: Hotel in Irkutsk
Day 8: Lake Baikal
- We’ll travel to Lake Baikal, the world’s deepest freshwater lake. Our visit includes a stop at the picturesque Listvyanka Village, where we’ll enjoy the stunning views. Then, we will take the train to our next destiantion Ulan-Ude.
Day 9: Ulan-Ude
- After our arrival to Ulan-Ude, we will explore this city and visit Lenin’s Head and the Buddhist Ivolginsky Datsan. Then we will take our final train for the last leg of the Expedition.
Day 10: Train to Vladivostok
- We will spend the day in the train to Vladivostok, crossin, this is the day that you should to travel with the Wander Fam to make it fun!
Day 10: Vladivostok and end of Expedition.
- Arrival to Vladivostok where we will visit the Golden Horn Bay, lighthouse and it will be the saddest moment of our Expedition and say goodbye.
